Clear Sky Wave - a poem by Joni
Her blue expanse
reached deep
with softly woven threads
of milky memory.
Innocence peeking out
from behind
old
storm clouds
With still wisdom
that's watched
the clouds come...
and go.
It was too bright
to the naked eyes.
A light in which
only the open heart
can breathe.
Suddenly...
With a whispering sigh,
the weighted sweeping gray
rolled in...
Blanketing
the blinding beams
for a moment
and sinking the light
into an
unexpected shadow.
In this awareness of
the dim
she sends out a
deeper breath in all directions,
clearing out space
for a sparkling looking glass
once again.
She remembered...
She is the sky.
