Philosophy in Practice
Saturday, August 29 | 1:00–4:00 PM at The Collective Wellness Studio in Butler, PA.
What if the answers you're searching for aren't new at all? For thousands of years, traditions like yoga philosophy, Stoicism, mindfulness, and Buddhist psychology have offered practical guidance for navigating stress, relationships, uncertainty, and the everyday challenges of being human. In this experiential workshop, you'll discover how these timeless teachings can become meaningful tools for modern life.
This immersive three-hour experience blends thoughtful discussion with personal reflection, journaling, breathwork, gentle movement, and mindfulness practices designed to help you move beyond simply understanding these philosophies—and begin living them.
Together we'll explore:
How to respond rather than react to life's challenges
Letting go of what you cannot control
Cultivating greater awareness, acceptance, and resilience
Practical tools to reduce stress and increase emotional well-being
Living with greater intention, clarity, and purpose
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply curious about living with more presence, this workshop offers a welcoming space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.
No previous experience with yoga, meditation, or philosophy is necessary. Come exactly as you are.
Investment: $75
✨ The first 10 participants receive $10 off their registration.
Continuing Education: This workshop qualifies for Continuing Education credits for Registered Yoga Teachers (RYTs) and Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs).
This isn't about studying philosophy.
It's about learning how to live it.
How To Create Your Own Moral Code
Tuesday, August 19, 9:00 am Eastern Time, virtual FREE class on Insight Timer.
How can we live in alignment if we aren't entirely sure what we are aligning to? In this live class, Joni will guide you in exploring snippets of sacred wisdom texts and how to draw on your own inner knowing to create your own set of values. When you know where you stand, you'll be less likely to experience a moral crisis. You'll feel a stronger sense of direction on what to choose for yourself, in the short and long term, and you'll be more confident in your decisions.
This class is FREE and online via the Insight Timer app or website. Click here to register.
