What can I expect from one of your retreats?
2
My retreats are designed to be more than a vacation. They are an opportunity to step away from the demands of everyday life, slow down, and reconnect with yourself in a meaningful way.
Each retreat blends mindfulness, gentle yoga, meditation, journaling, nature, and reflective conversations with the unique experiences of the destination. Whether we're exploring the Sacred Valley of Peru, the Greek islands, or the rolling hills of Italy, the location becomes part of the learning, inviting new perspectives and a renewed appreciation for life.
You'll find a balance of guided experiences and unstructured time. There is space to rest, read, explore, enjoy local culture, connect with fellow travelers, or simply sit quietly with a cup of coffee and take in the view. There is no pressure to perform or keep up. You are encouraged to participate in ways that feel right for you.
Many participants tell me they come home with greater clarity, a renewed sense of purpose, meaningful friendships, practical tools for managing stress, and a deeper connection to themselves. My hope is that you leave feeling rested, inspired, and more fully equipped to navigate life with intention, presence, and joy.
What makes you different?
3
My work is rooted in one simple belief: every person has the capacity to grow, heal, and live with greater intention. Sometimes we simply need the space, perspective, and practical tools to reconnect with those qualities.
Rather than focusing on a single method or philosophy, I draw from counseling psychology, mindfulness, neuroscience, positive psychology, yoga, and contemplative traditions to create experiences that are both evidence-informed and deeply human. Whether through counseling, retreats, workshops, or speaking, my goal is not simply to reduce stress, but to help people cultivate the skills that lead to long-term human flourishing.
I place a strong emphasis on developing qualities that are increasingly valuable in today's world, including attention, curiosity, emotional intelligence, perspective, purpose, and personal agency. These are the capacities that help us navigate change, build meaningful relationships, make thoughtful decisions, and live with greater clarity and resilience.
Perhaps most importantly, I believe transformation happens through experience. My work is interactive, reflective, and practical, giving people not only insight, but simple tools they can continue using long after our time together.
