Yogaville Satchidananda Ashram

2027 Workshop:

Reclaiming Your Attention

March 5-7, 2027

108 Yogaville Way, Buckingham VA 23921

Attention is one of our most valuable resources. Yet in modern life, many of us feel scattered, overstimulated, and pulled in countless directions by responsibilities, technology, expectations, and the constant noise of the world around us. Over time, it becomes easy to lose touch with ourselves, our values, and our inner sense of direction.

This retreat is an invitation to pause.

Held at the serene Yogaville Ashram in Virginia, founded on the teachings of Swami Satchidananda, this experience combines mindfulness, gentle yoga, meditation, contemplative practices, and reflective inquiry to help participants reconnect with the present moment and cultivate greater intentionality in their lives.

Drawing from both Eastern wisdom traditions and Western psychology, we will explore how awareness creates the foundation for meaningful change. Through guided practices, journaling, discussion, time in nature, and periods of silence, participants will learn to observe the patterns that shape their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. As awareness deepens, greater clarity emerges, allowing us to respond to life's challenges with wisdom rather than habit or reactivity.

Throughout the retreat, we'll explore a simple but powerful framework: Awareness, Acceptance, and Action. Participants will learn how awareness helps us see clearly, acceptance helps us meet reality as it is, and intentional action allows us to move forward with greater purpose and alignment.

This retreat is not about becoming someone different. It is about remembering who you are beneath the distractions, expectations, and mental noise that often cloud your inner wisdom.

Whether you are navigating a life transition, feeling overwhelmed by the pace of modern life, seeking spiritual growth, or simply longing for a deeper connection with yourself, this retreat offers a supportive environment to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.

Participants can expect:

  • Daily meditation and mindfulness practices

  • Gentle and accessible yoga and movement

  • Reflective journaling and self-inquiry

  • Opportunities for silence and contemplation

  • Discussion and community connection
